Why pay more?

PCBs costs falling in stark contrast to component prices

The component shortages and significant uplifts on component costs have been a well documented issue for some time and are likely to be an unwelcome feature well into Qtr 3 of 2023 sadly.

Circuit Boards however are not affected by the 'cost up' situation, and we have in fact seen a noticeable reduction in the premiums charged for laminate which should have a positive affect on the prices you should be paying for your boards, but this isn't being reflected across the PCB supply sector.

Over the past few weeks especially, we have been hearing about competitive PCB prices souring against the market trend and an even larger price gap between UK and offshore costs, but this would appear to be more to do with 'top heavy' overheads, getting a return on acquisitions and simply jumping on the bandwagon with cost increases which is both opportunist and unnecessary.

Whilst it is impossible to avoid the cost increases on silicon and components, we see no reason why PCBs should be marked up for no good reason, so why pay more?
Please talk to the momentum Circuits commercial team to determine how much you can save by simply paying for the PCBs you use, not for the cost of running another business.
